Grem Prompt 2: Pumpkin Pals...?
Suzaku was never one for noise. Or parties. Or traditionally ‘fun’ events, like carnivals. He’d sworn to keep away from Markov’s festivities, but two certain…confidants of his had been nagging at him to join for weeks on end. Both seemed terribly dour when they departed for the festival without him, leaving the stoic Grem to stew in the guilt until finally, with an exasperated sigh, he got up and began the long walk to the fairgrounds. Of course, he made sure not to depart without a healthy roll of the eyes. Suzaku wasn’t one for being seen, either. Given any number of paths, he would always take the one least traveled. This time was no exception, as he opted to cut through the dense woods on the outskirts of the fairgrounds. The dark wasn’t scary for him- on the contrary, it was welcoming, and a place he’d known arguably better than the light. However, on this day, a strange presence was there with him.
